Why "Das dicke Ende kommt noch"?
The literal translation of this German saying is "The thick end is yet to come". It stems from an old German military saying and cautions that the "thick end" or butt of a rifle may well follow the enemy's use of the "thin" end or the muzzle. This refers to trench or hand-to-hand combat. The best meaningful translation is "The worst is yet to come" and that is how the phrase is meant today. And I strongly feel that it pertains to America if the present socialist agenda of Obama is not just defeated but routed for years to come.
